Dallas Security Systems is an independent, owner operated security company.
We were established in 1978 and according to Security Distributing & Marketing
Magazine (SDM), we consistently rank within the top thirty largest security
companies in the United States. Dallas Security Systems is an “integrated
systems house”. We are a company with broad engineering skills in integrated
security and access control systems, closed circuit television, intercoms
and burglar alarm systems. Over the years, however, DSS has developed
into more than a systems house. The DSS name is synonymous with dedication,
attention to detail and above all else, quality to the customer.
In
addition to residential and retail accounts, we provide security programs
for hospitals, schools, police headquarters buildings, corporate headquarters,
defense contractors and high rise office buildings. We do a number of
systems for office building management and individual tenants in those
buildings.
Our main market area is the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. We have some
clients as far south as Waco. To the north, we have clients in Sherman
and Dennison. To the east we have accounts in Tyler and to the west we
go to Weatherford.
We own and operate our own central station. It is listed by Underwriters
Laboratories (UL) and meets all of the standards of that agency.
Dallas Security Systems uses its own installers to do all of our work.
In other words, we do not use subcontract labor to install our devices.
We do use electrical contractors to run high voltage wiring and locksmiths
when necessary. We also select our equipment based on quality, not price.
We feel that this gives us quality control and our clients receive the
best product possible.
